While lightly armed the Procursator-class used itsspeed, superior shielding and maneuvering to engage ships larger and more powerful than itself. Much like the T-shaped tower on the contemporary Victory-class, it was smaller in scale than the modular KDY tower on the Imperial-class. The T-shaped bridge tower was similar to the command tower on other Imperial Star Destroyer designs, like the Imperial-class. The design was propelled by three large thrusters giving the vessel a top sublight speed of 65 MGLT. The Procursator-class was built with a reactor dome that jutted out on the ventral side of the vessel and covered with protective armor, similar to other Imperial warships. Designed with many of the systems and advancements found int the Imperial II-class it was a formidable ship and often underestimated because of it being slightly shorter, at 1200 meters in length than An Imperial-class. The Procursator-class was similar in appearance to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. In total, the Procursator's armament included 3 axial double turbolaser batteries and ten double turbolaser batteries, evenly divided on the port and starboard sides of the vessel.The Procursator-class Star Destroyer was an Imperial warship in the Star Destroyer design family.
With no hangar bay and thus no capacity to carry troops nor starfighters, it was given a light armament that made it best serve as an escort for larger warships. The Procursator-class Star Destroyer is very much a smaller version of the Allegiance-class Battlecruiser. The first of these models joined Death Squadron in 3 ABY and served a prominent role in the Battle of Mon Calamari in 10 ABY. It was a solid slug warship, like the larger Alliegance-class. It was lightly armed compared to the Allegiance and served as a good escort, nonetheless. The Procursator-class Star Destroyer is a smaller version of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, but more similar with the Tector-class and Allegiance-class due to the hangarless model that it shared with these two vessels.
